Historic Districts

If you are considering a project around the downtown area or former Benicia Arsenal, there's a good chance that it's in a historic district.  Benicia's historic districts are important to the community's identity and economy.  Please take the time to determine whether the historic district guidelines and requirements will apply to your project.
