2026 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project
Scope
The 2026 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project includes full depth reclamation with cement (FDR-C), hot mix asphalt, Type 3 micro surface leveling course with fibers, asphalt rubber (PMAR) chip seal, Type 2 micro surface, asphalt treatments in a three-layer system, HMA removal and replacement, digouts, and striping in City of Benicia Pavement Zones 6 and 17, Cambridge Drive between Rose Drive and Hastings Drive, and Rose Drive between Columbus Parkway and Bolton Circle. Additional work includes removal and installation of hot mix asphalt concrete, curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps with warning surfaces, crosswalks, signing and striping at various locations within the Pavement Zones.

Tentative Project Schedule
The work began in July 2026 and is anticipated to be completed in October 2026.

- Construction will take place between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Roads will be closed for a period of 4 hours after the treatment is applied to allow the material to cure
- Portions of the roadway including driveway access may be temporarily limited while sealant cures
- Please adhere to NO PARKING and ROAD CLOSED signs
