2026 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Scope

The 2026 Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project includes full depth reclamation with cement (FDR-C), hot mix asphalt, Type 3 micro surface leveling course with fibers, asphalt rubber (PMAR) chip seal, Type 2 micro surface, asphalt treatments in a three-layer system, HMA removal and replacement, digouts, and striping in City of Benicia Pavement Zones 6 and 17, Cambridge Drive between Rose Drive and Hastings Drive, and Rose Drive between Columbus Parkway and Bolton Circle. Additional work includes removal and installation of hot mix asphalt concrete, curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps with warning surfaces, crosswalks, signing and striping at various locations within the Pavement Zones.

Contract Approval Date by Benicia City Council

Anticipated June 16, 2026

Tentative Project Schedule

The work is tentatively scheduled to begin in July 2026 and be completed in October 2026.

$5,600,000 (engineer's estimate)

Gas Tax, Solid Waste Vehicle Impact Fee, and Measure F
