City Hall Tenant Improvement Project

Scope

The City Hall Tenant Improvement Project included a ground-floor renovation of Benicia City Hall to create additional workspaces and two new conference rooms. Prior to the project, the City was severely limited in its ability to accommodate in-person meetings with developers and applicants, creating challenges for staff and the development community alike. The new Development Services Conference Room provides a dedicated space for pre-application meetings, project coordination, and other development-related discussions, allowing applicants to meet directly with City staff in a professional and collaborative setting. The additional workspace also provides much-needed room for City staff and improves the overall functionality of the building, helping City Hall better serve the community and support Benicia’s ongoing development and economic activity.

Project Schedule

The work began in November 2024 and was completed in July 2025.
