WaterSmart/WaterInsight

The City of Benicia has partnered with WaterSmart Software Inc. to offer residents a website where detailed information about your household water use can be accessed.  It is part of the City’s commitment to provide you with the best tools to manage your water use and your water bill.  The WaterInsight website uses data retrieved from the smart meters, which helps residents monitor water consumption while at home or away and avoid costly leaks.  Watch a short, one-minute video below to learn more.

• View your water use on daily or hourly intervals.  Do you know how much water your sprinkler system uses?
• Many water leaks are silent and go unnoticed causing large water bills.  Sign up to check if you have a leak.
• Get automatic email or text alerts for leaks.  Fixing leaks promptly saves a lot of water and money.
• Get use notifications. You will be notified when you use over a certain amount of water that you set.
