BENICIA PARKS  

Want to sit on the water’s edge and enjoy the sunset?... Or perhaps you want to take the kids to a play structure or outdoor basketball court for some fun activities; or maybe you just want to get away and hike some trails. RESERVATIONS - PERMITS

Looking for a place to have a picnic, BBQ, baby shower, or birthday party? We have outdoor facilities available.  We only do one rental per picnic section, per day. 

Rental Fees: $111.25 res/$327.50 non-res

Parks/Picnic Site Reservations

    • Reservations are accepted at the Parks and Community Services Department, 370 East L Street. 
    • Reservations cannot be taken over phone. 
    • Applicants must be 21 years of age with valid identification. 
    • The parks that have reservable picnic areas are Jack London, City Park, and the Benicia Community Park (fondly referred to as Big Slide Park).
    • Residents can reserve the parks/picnic areas one year in advance.  Non-Residents can reserve four months in advance.
    • Rentals sponsored by companies, non-profit organizations, or other organizations will need to provide insurance.
    • Refunds for outdoor facilities are not issued due to rain or other weather conditions.
    • Please see our Outdoor Facility Policies in the link at the bottom of the page for information about park/picnic policies.
    • Alcohol is only allowed with a picnic site reservation, and must remain at the picnic tables

Jumpers/Inflatables:

Jumper Permit Fee: $33.25

    • Renters MUST have a JUMPER PERMIT issued by the City in order to have a jumper in the following approved parks: City Park, Jack London Park, and Benicia Community Park. Jumpers are not permitted in any other parks.
    • Please see the JUMPER/INFLATABLES/RENTAL EQUIPMENT POLICIES for more information about requirements and restrictions.
