NOTICE FROM THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Urgent repairs are needed to the City’s untreated water transmission supply line. The water supply pipeline to the City’s water treatment plant will be out of service for these repairs from January 30th through February 1st. In order to provide an adequate water supply to the City’s water customers, the City will temporarily use Lake Herman as the source of drinking water during this time. The treated drinking water delivered to Benicia customers will continue to meet all regulatory requirements during this time; however, because the water is coming from another source, a different taste or smell may be noticeable.
