California Coastal Cleanup Day Saturday

Team up to clean up Benicia's beautiful shoreline and waterways by picking up trash and recyclables on Coastal Cleanup Day, this Saturday, 9 a.m. - noon. There will be a free lunch afterwards for volunteers at West Ninth Street Park.

Benicia locations are:
-West 12th Street beach
-Benicia High School, 1101 Military West
-West Ninth Street park & beach
-West 6th & J Streets
-Bayshore Levee Trail
-Benicia State Recreation Area
-Benicia Marina and the bottom of First Street

Volunteers should check in at West Ninth Street Park to turn in or sign waivers. Site Captains will be available to collect
waivers and hand out supplies if needed.

You may pre-register at https://www.cleanupsolano.org/home/coastal-cleanup-day then click "get prepared to volunteer" to download a waiver.

Please try to reduce waste by bringing your own reusable bucket, gloves and refillable water bottle. It is suggested you wear closed-toe shoes and bring sunscreen.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
