If needed, Sandbag Stations are located
-Corporation Yard (2400 East Second Street )
-East E Street parking lot (across the street from Benicia Yacht Club)
.
From Solano County OES (Office of Emergency Services):
Batten down the hatches! The National Weather Service has elevated Solano County from a Flood Advisory to a Flood Watch.
What this means to you – when there are strong rains, high winds and high tide, Solano County is very prone to flooding. We are expecting two of those three overnight – winds and very heavy rain. If you live in areas that have flooded in the past, or you live near creeks and streams, please be prepared for this potential flood event.
Sandbag information is below. Drive safely and do not attempt to drive through high water as you will put yourself in need of rescue.
