Annual Fire Prevention Inspections
The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for conducting annual inspections and for following up with complaints on existing buildings to ensure the life and safety of all occupants. The City of Benicia has adopted California Fire Codes, NFPA Standards and local ordinances. Even though not all buildings are required to be inspected on an annual basis, all buildings are required to abide by the requirements, standards and ordinances.
