Rainy Season Information

Per the Benicia Municipal Code (BMC), the rainy season is defined as the period between October 15 and April 15, inclusive.

Grading Construction Activities

Prior to the onset of the rainy season, a notification letter will be sent to the homeowner and contractor identifying the upcoming seasonal restrictions and any additional enforcement requirements that may apply. Grading operations during the rainy season are generally restricted; however, the City may approve continued grading activities if specific conditions are met.
