The Finance Department is responsible for the planning, organization, control, coordination and direction of the financial resources and policies of the City, as set forth by the City Council and City Manager. The department is also responsible for administering the water and wastewater utility bills, preparing the Biennial Budgets, preparing the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (“ACFR”) and intergovernmental reports required by various agencies. 

As the “Custodian of Public Funds,” the department manages and safeguards the financial resources of the City and provides prompt and courteous service to citizens and others having financial dealings with the City. The department also assists other city departments implement their programs through budget development and financial management.
