Personal Cannabis Cultivation

Personal cannabis cultivation is allowed in residential areas, subject to requirements. Up to six cannabis plants may be cultivated per inhabited, occupied residential unit. All commercial sales and activities are prohibited.

CULTIVATION STANDARDS
  • No more than six cannabis plants per inhabited, occupied residential unit.
  • Cultivation must be within a fully enclosed structure, inside a residence, or in an accessory structure.
  • No plants or cultivation apparatus may be visible from the public right of way, public spaces, or neighboring properties.
  • All odors shall be mitigated and confined to the enclosed cultivation space.
  • No gas products, including but not limited to, CO2, butane, propane, and natural gas, may be used.
  • Any drying, processing, or similar activities, must be for personal/non-business purposes and must occur in a fully enclosed space and cannot be visible from the public right of way, public spaces, or neighboring properties.
