Arts and Culture Commission

Annual Report: The Arts and Culture Commission presents an Annual Report to the City Council each spring.

Calendar: A calendar of arts and culture events and activities in Benicia is available at VisitBenicia.org.

Grant funding: The City of Benicia provides funding to nonprofit arts and culture organizations based in Benicia, with oversight of the grants being performed by the Arts and Culture Commission. Information on the 2017-19 grant cycle will be available in fall of 2016, and funding recommendations will be made in spring 2017.  In 2015-17, the City Council approved the allocation of grant funds to the following organizations:
