Shallow Water - Aqua Aerobics & Senior Zone

Water aerobics is a feel-good workout. It is uplifting, fun and a great opportunity to be social. Water aerobics improves your balance, coordination, and overall mobility. Water aerobics is good for your heart, it is fun and relaxing and can lower your blood pressure. It is a great low impact workout that is easy on your joints. Water aerobics is a great way to ease into exercise, relax while you workout and boost your mood. Register online or pay drop in fee.

This activity is designated for seniors 55+ to exercise and enjoy the James Lemos Swim Center.  Seniors, this is your opportunity to participate in aquatic activities in a calm and peaceful environment. The Senior Aquatic Zone will be held in the “L” shaped pool exclusively for senior citizens. Due to the size and shape of the pool, lap swim and diving will not be permitted. Regular entry fee required.

Spring Senior Zone
April 9th - June 6th: Tuesday/Thursday: 4-5:30pm

Summer Senior Zone 
June 17th - August 8th: Monday - Thursday, 8-9:45am
