Junior Firefighter-Explorer Program

The department sponsors and operates a junior firefighter program for kids ages 15 to 20. The program is part of the Boy Scouts of America, Explorer Program. The Explorers are given the opportunity to become part of the department and work with the on-duty crews in daily activities.

Applications can be downloaded and completed. Completed applications should be emailed to Engineer Stephen McCord at smccord@ci.benicia.ca.us.
